About Post & Vine

Post & Vine was founded by Rebekah Wineburg and Erica Schubert-Kincaid in 2012. Both fell in love with wine after visiting the Napa Valley at a young age; upon meeting at Rudd Estate while working in production together in 2005, the two discovered their shared passion for historic vineyard sites in northern California. Seven years later, Post & Vine was born.

Ten years later, Post & Vine continues to share that original dream with the world through their artisanal, terroir-specific wines. They exclusively work with sustainably-farmed old vines and implement a meticulous, low-intervention mentality in the cellar. The resulting wines are joyful, honest, and deeply speak to their place of origin.

“With a focus on small historical vineyards that have been managed sustainably by committed stewards, Post & Vine wine aims to tell a great story with every glass.”

Meet Rebekah

Rebekah Wineburg first fell in love with wine after a family trip to Napa Valley at the young age of 16. A Washington DC native, Rebekah was instantly captivated by the innate beauty of California’s North Coast. While there, a family friend—who also happened to be a chemist—was the first to open her eyes to the science and art behind viticulture and vinification. Upon realizing that her creativity and love for science could become the backbone of her career, Rebekah immediately pursued studies in chemistry and biology at Macalester College, followed by a Master’s Degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis.

After working harvests at prestigious estates across all corners of the world (Rudd Estate, Staglin, Ornellaia, Spy Valley Wines, and beyond), Rebekah ultimately returned to the place where her passion for viticulture first began. She accepted the prestigious winemaker position at Napa-based Quintessa, where she still works today. In 2012, she founded Post & Vine to showcase her love for California’s old vineyards.
